Yule, The Winter Solstice
December 21, 2015
Yule is celebrated as a day where we reflect on the light in the midst of the darkness.
Yule is the longest night of the year, representing winter and its short days and long nights. The solstice is about hope and faith, with the hope of the new light that is yet to come. One of the symbols for Yule is the fir tree. The fir tree and evergreens represent life in the midst of death, because they survive the cold, dark winter nights when most plants die.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
