Spiritual Healing Tips of the week
The Fall Equinox/Mabon is September 21/22, 2017 Ways to celebrate and honoring this time of the year is to decorate your home with fall items such as pumpkins, squash, corn, corn husk, fall leaves, orange and gold candles, pillows and throws. Mabon or the first day of fall is usually celebrated on the 21/22 of September. We celebrate the main harvest of what was planted during the spring equinox. It is also associated withe when the Goddess Demeter lost her daughter Persophone to Hades, God of the Underworld. Persephone returns to Demeter in the Spring. This also is a great story representation of our cycle how during the fall (pre-menstrual phase we begin our journey back into the dark underworld (winter/menstruation). Join me this Thursday, September 21, 2017 7pm as we celebrate the first day of fall with ritual, meditation, drinks, snacks and more! Blessings.
