Savasana what seems like the most simplest, easiest asana in yoga is truly one of the most difficult.
This is a highly awaited for asana at the end of every class. A treat for all the hard work done during our yoga class, yet this is one of the most complex poses. Why is it a hard asana you ask if its simply laying down on your may. Well Savasana is about letting go of the body and letting go of the mind. Letting go of our to do list, grocery list, worries of how well we did our asanas during the class.
We are guided to completely let go, to focus on the breathe.
To allow the whole body to relax and melt into the earth.
